@colezick repost READ WITH CAUTION the contents will likely be uncomfortable. No really with caution. This is the intro from a book I picked up tonight called digital detox. If six or more of these apply then you likely need to address it. I have realized my dependency on screens and have been working hard over the last couple months to cut it off. I actually deleted IG and redownload it briefly when I want to post something. I just realized that my phone was stealing my life, or rather I was giving my life to my phone. I get sick at the thought of the moments with the my wife, kids, friends and God I've lost staring at this thing. One of the main things we lose when screens run our lives is time to ourselves that is so needed for us to reflect, rest and grow. Not to mention the relational shallowness we experience. Not saying it's all bad but it's rare to see someone with a healthy "balance," so no clue what that even looks like. Oh and I've realized I've begun to give disclaimers to alot of what I say because people tend to be turned off by too much passion. I'm gonna quit that too. But I'm sure nobody reading this post on Instagram has a problem with screens. Signing back off.

Luke the 🦁: a couple fun moments from the past week. .... . It’s been a year of growth for this one. He has probably grown 6-8 inches in the last year but has displayed courage in a few different ways (and a new found love for trying new foods - this was his first ever gyro we got at Ankar’s). A couple years back in a season of timidity we decided 2 names we would call him were Luke the Lion and Luke the Leader. Sometimes we need to see and speak the end of the story even if we see the opposite in the now. He is growing into those names by the grace of God - I can see much more to come but there is plenty to celebrate right now and no need to rush it :)

Shared a message at a men’s event a few weeks back and one of the men there went home and created this (unbeknownst to me) and presented it today. Thank u @integritywebdev - I’m honored and grateful for this creative statement!
